Due-Diligence and Fact Finding

Once you have successfully completed the application process its time start your due diligence.
There are three important components of this stage in the process:

  1. Reviewing our Franchise Disclosure Document (DD)
  2. Undertaking a discovery interview/meeting with Just Better Care executives at head office in Manly, NSW
  3. Connecting with or visiting other Just Better Care franchise owners to gain a good sense of a community care business and determine suitability.

Our Franchise Disclosure Document

If your application meets our minimum criteria we will forward you Disclosure Document for Franchisee or Prospective Franchisee (DD). The DD provides more in-depth information on the Just Better Care franchise including indicative costs.

Discovery Interview Q&A

The discovery interview is designed as an opportunity for us to get to know each other. This is an opportunity for Just Better Care to provide you a more in-depth look into our franchise system and for you to meet various department heads from Marketing, IT through to Operations and Compliance.

It is also an opportunity to have your questions answered and for both of us to discover if the fit is right. During this process we will discuss in greater detail your arrangements for financing the initial costs, and your financial expectations. We will contact you to schedule this meeting after making a determination about your application.

Connecting With Other Franchise Owners

No one can give you a better understanding of the Just Better Care franchise than our current Franchise Owners who live and breathe the business every day. As we get further into the application process, we’ll provide you with a customised list of offices, including those close to you and some who share similar profiles.

For example, if you have young children, we’ll include an owner who has experienced balancing Community Care life with parenting young children. If you are taking this on as a single owner, we’ll include someone else who has shared that experience. This will help you get answers to questions that are meaningful and specific to your circumstances. Other things we might provide a match for include Franchise locations with similar demographic profiles, or owners who have faced similar challenges to ones you may face.
