Preparing to Open Your Just Better Care Franchise

After signing your franchise agreement, you will:

  1. Undertake the Just Better Care on-boarding and training in Manly, NSW
  2. Receive practical input finalising your business and development plan
  3. Take steps toward opening your office and providing services
  4. Get started

On-Boarding and Training

At this point, you will begin working closely with Just Better Care executives whom will help you step-by-step with all key aspects and systems of operating a Just Better Care franchise.

We want you to benefit from our experience and knowledge. We have seen what works and what doesn’t. Our team will help you with the do’s and don’ts of running a community care business from how to promote and deliver the services locally, through to managing employees and operating our internal franchise IT systems.

Some of the things may not make sense at first. This is where we ask you to trust us. You are learning from the cumulative knowledge of many whom went before you, plus the various successes, and just as importantly, some mistakes, so take great advantage of this process.

Finalising your Business and Development Plan

During the training and on-boarding process you will be assisted to finalise your territory business and development plan. This process includes undertaking territory research, identifying and understanding your business costs, customers, competitors and how best to focus business growth efforts. The Business plan will ultimately form the initial road map or basis of the strategic activities you will undertake to establish, grow and manage your franchise business.

First steps to Providing Services

We will ask you to search for a suitable office location from where you will establish the Just better Care franchise. Just Better Care representatives will provide you with feedback on the pros and cons of any potential locations, plus assistance with the commercial terms of leasing office property to help your negotiations with landlords.

Once you have successfully undertaken the above activities its time to get started.
